Your personal data are collected and processed through contact forms on our Website, e-mail correspondence, telephone calls, online meetings, notes taken during in-person meetings, printed or digital forms relating to the service and similar channels, by automated or non-automated means, for lawful, specific, explicit and legitimate purposes. Where it is necessary to record meetings or interviews by audio or video, you will be separately informed about such recording and the relevant requirements will be observed.

Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f)): Processing activities relating to the development of our services, ensuring the security of our Website and information systems, the management of requests and complaints, the optimisation of our business processes and the conduct of our customer relationships are carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests, provided that they do not constitute a disproportionate interference with your fundamental rights and freedoms.
Legal Obligation (Article 6(1)(c)): Processing activities carried out for the purpose of complying with legal obligations required under United Kingdom legislation are conducted on this legal basis.
Explicit Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): Processing activities relating to marketing communications, the use of non-essential cookies and/or other circumstances in which consent is required by virtue of the nature of the processing are carried out on the basis of your explicit consent. As a rule, Aksan Global does not process special categories of personal data (data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic and biometric data, health data, or data concerning sex life or sexual orientation). However, in exceptional cases where the processing of such data is necessary due to the nature of our consultancy services, processing will be carried out on the basis of the appropriate legal ground under Article 9(2) UK GDPR and subject to adequate safeguards, and you will be informed of such processing in advance.
7. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be shared with the following groups of recipients, limited to the purposes set out in Section 4 of this notice, observing the principles of data minimisation and the “need-to-know” principle, and subject to appropriate contractual/technical safeguards:
Our employees and authorised representatives involved in the provision of the consultancy services, together with our business partners and specialist advisers supporting the performance of the service; suppliers providing the operation and hosting of our Website, IT infrastructure, communications (e.g. e-mail) and security services; suppliers (where applicable) providing content production, transcription, translation and similar support services; and competent public authorities and our legal advisers, within the scope of our legal obligations or for the establishment, exercise or defence of our legal rights.

Your personal data are retained for as long as required for the purposes of processing and, in any event, within the minimum retention periods provided under United Kingdom legislation. Data collected in connection with consultancy services are retained for the applicable limitation periods following the end of the service relationship. Upon expiry of the retention period, your personal data are securely deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Depending on the complexity of the request, this period may be extended by a further two months, in which case you will be informed within the initial month.
